Executive Director, National Foundation on Fitness, Sports & Nutrition
Chris Watts’s career has focused on the intersection of sports, society, and business. Currently Chris serves as the Executive Director of the National Foundation on Fitness, Sports & Nutrition, the only congressionally chartered nonprofit with the sole focus to help more Americans be active, play sports & eat healthy.
As the official foundation of the President’s Council on Fitness, Sports & Nutrition, the National Foundation believes that the strongest America is one where every citizen has the opportunity to lead a healthy lifestyle. Through private donations and partnerships, the Foundation supports programs and initiatives that educate, engage, and empower Americans of all abilities and backgrounds to adopt a healthy lifestyle.
Previously, Chris served as Managing Director of 4POINT4 and was instrumental in developing their innovative business model and executing partnerships with nonprofits across the country. Prior to 4POINT4, Chris led strategic partnerships for the President’s Council in support of the First Lady’s Let’s Move! initiative, managing numerous White House projects and directing cross-sector partnerships with hundreds of national stakeholders. Prior to his work in the sports industry, Chris was an analyst at Kimley-Horn & Associates, a leading engineering consulting firm.
Chris has been named a Forbes 30 Under 30, World Economic Forum Global Shaper and an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University. A Pittsburgh native and Carnegie Mellon University graduate, Chris earned an MBA from George Washington University.
