President and Chief Wellness Officer, GENYOUth Foundation
Ann Marie Krautheim, M.A., R.D., L.D., is the President and Chief Wellness Officer for the GENYOUth Foundation, where she leads the Foundation’s strategic vision, planning, goal-setting, and their partnerships with thought-leaders in government, business, education, fitness and nutrition to advance youth wellness. Ann Marie has played an integral role in the development and evaluation of GENYOUth’s flagship program, Fuel Up to Play 60, a nutrition and physical activity program launched by the National Dairy Council and the National Football League, now in 73,000 schools.
A registered dietitian, Ann Marie believes in giving back to her profession and throughout her career has actively served on the boards of state and regional dietetic associations. In 1995, the Ohio and American Dietetic Associations recognized her accomplishments and honored her with the Recognized Young Dietitian of the Year Award. In addition, Ann Marie received the prestigious 2006 Anita Owen Award for Innovation in Nutrition Education from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
Ann Marie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in medical dietetics from The Ohio State University and a Master of Arts degree in communication from the University of Delaware. Ann Marie is the mother of two active boys, ages 14 and 17, and an advocate for making healthy eating and physical activity an enjoyable family affair.
