Digital Learning Officer, Discovery Education
Kelli, a 17-year veteran of Discovery Education, currently leads product development across curriculum and instructional services, ensuring that high-quality, engaging digital resources are provided to schools worldwide. In her role as Digital Learning Officer, she also oversees Discovery Education’s personalized and adaptive learning initiatives, as well as integration of new media types – such as gaming and Virtual Reality – into Discovery Education’s digital resources. In 2011, Kelli helped fuel market innovation by launching the company’s entrance into the digital textbook market. Spanning science, social studies, and math, the Discovery Education “Techbooks” positively impact millions of students and teachers nationwide. Additionally, she spearheads the company’s international expansion bringing Discovery Education’s digital resources and professional development to educators and students worldwide. Kelli has presented at a variety of education conferences on the subject of education’s digital transition, and has contributed to numerous articles about the replacement of textbooks by digital resources. In 2014, she was named one of the Alliance for Women in Media’s Women with Solutions for her leadership in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).
